weekly wows

Okay first week of school is over and ... 3rd day of school my 1st grader asks me "Mom is it the last day of school yet"! Oh boy, hope that is not an indicator of how the year or even the first month is going to go.
I wanted to share a few amazing transformations that I saw this week.
Yvonne from  Stone Gable transformed her daughters old  bedroom into a stunning guest bedroom. I think her daughter is going to love coming back home to visit!
Wow household tip on how to Refresh Grout from Sweet Pea  is exactly what I need right now with two little boys under the age of 6 with a white tile and white grout bathroom. What was I thinking!!!
Robin at  happily home after  shares this gorgeous DIY art work and tutorial. This is amazing!
And how creative are these outdoor dominoes that 1dog woof created. Game anyone?
Spending time with the family today. Weekends are more precious now that the kids are back to school.
I hope you are making the most out of your weekend too!

  1. I'm sure that he will "get used to it" and will once again be enthusiastic! (Sometimes with the review that happens early in the year, the bright kids are a little bored. They perk up once new material is introduced.)

  2. Hi Laura,
Thanks so much for including my artwork alongside those great transformations ... lovely guest "retreat", very classy dominoes, and if Sweat Pea is sharing a grout refresh solution that works for my miles of tile, I think she's my new BF :) Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

  3. Lovely features. I saw Yvonne's guest room and instantly fell in love. Your little guy will adjust. Enjoy these grade school years!

  4. Giant dominos, hmm. I think I need those to add to my giant bowling and giant jenga.

  5. Sometimes 1st grade takes some getting used to. It's a little more rigorous and those babies have to learn how to be serious students.

  6. Good features, Laura! Hope your crew settles in soon -- mine are off this morning and soon it's back to the classroom for me too.

  7. Laura, thanks for the shoutout! I can't believe school has started already - my little one is too young yet, so I'm pretty clueless on school life :-)

  8. Thanks so much for featuring my grout refresh post. I couldn't believe how well this product work and it is lasting, too.
